Welcome to Half Ass Construction
The Need-to-Knows Before We Get to Work
Because "Good Enough" was already taken. The name might be funny, but our work sure as hell isn’t. We specialize in fixing half-assed jobs, not creating them.
Around here, we don’t cut corners—we fix them. And with a name like ours, you know we have to be damn good at what we do—because let’s be real, if we weren’t, we’d be out of business by now.
So if you’re tired of “It’ll do” work and want real craftsmanship with a side of humor, pull up a chair—we’ve got some building to do.
That depends—are we starting fresh, or are we about to uncover a house of horrors behind your drywall?
We don’t throw out numbers like a weatherman guessing the forecast. Every project is unique, so we take the time to give you an honest, no-BS quote based on materials, labor, and the condition of what we’re working with.
And while we’d love to tell you everything will go smoothly, there are always surprises. What looks like a simple remodel can turn into a “Well, that’s not supposed to be like that” moment real quick.
If we find something unexpected, we won’t sugarcoat it—we’ll tell you exactly what’s going on and figure out the smartest, most cost-effective way to fix it.
No hidden fees, no sudden surprises—just real work, real craftsmanship, and a real budget that works for you.
That depends—do we get to start from scratch, or are we fixing the last guy’s ‘creative solutions’ that are now held together by ‘that’s how we’ve always done it’?
We work efficiently, but we don’t rush and regret—we measure twice and build once. Quality takes time, and we’d rather take a little longer to do it right than have to come back and fix it later.
If it takes an extra day to get it right instead of getting it redone later, so be it. Patience builds perfection, and we build to last.
That said, we’ll always give you a realistic timeline upfront and keep you updated along the way—because the only thing worse than a delayed project is a bad surprise with a deadline that never made sense in the first place.
Hell yes, we do. Our reputation is worth more to us than profit.
If it ain’t done right, it ain’t done. We don’t believe in "that’ll do" fixes. If we wouldn’t put it in our own homes, we’re not putting it in yours.
No cutting corners, no half-measures—just solid craftsmanship that speaks for itself. We stand behind every project because we believe a job worth doing is a job worth doing right.
If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right—but we build so you don’t have to call us back.
We’re so confident in what we do, we put ‘Half Ass’ in our name—because you’d better believe we’re damn good if we can get away with that.
🛠 Only if we’re avoiding traffic. When it comes to construction? Hell no.
We don’t slap things together and hope for the best. If you want fast and flimsy, there are plenty of people who can help you with that. If you want smart design, solid craftsmanship, and a job done right the first time—call us.
We believe in doing it right, not twice. Rushed work leads to regret, repairs, and more money spent later—and we’d rather get it right the first time.
At HAC Job, we don’t cut corners—we fix them.
You can, but let’s be honest—that’s how we get most of our business.
We love a good DIY effort, but YouTube confidence doesn’t always translate to real-world results. If you want to tackle some parts of the project yourself, we’ll let you know what’s reasonable—and what’s likely to end with a call to us and the paramedics.
We’d rather give you good advice upfront than a bigger repair bill later.
If you’re serious about doing part of the work yourself, just ask—we’ll tell you what’s safe, what’s doable, and what’s best left to the pros.
If the job calls for it, sure. But we also enjoy a good hunting trip, a cold beer, and not falling off ladders on our day off.
We work hard, but we also believe in a little R&R—because a rested builder is a focused, detail-driven builder. That being said, if your project needs weekend work to get done right, we’ll make it happen.
At the end of the day, we take pride in our work and take care of our customers. If it needs to get done, we’ll be there—but if we have the chance to enjoy a Saturday without power tools in hand, we’re taking it.
We’ll do our best—but we won’t lie to you.
If you’re trying to build a castle on a chicken coop budget, we’ll be upfront about what’s realistic and worth your money. We don’t cheap out on materials, and we don’t believe in "fixing it just enough to break later."
We will help you prioritize the important stuff, find creative solutions, and ensure you’re getting the best bang for your buck—without cutting corners.
Quality ain’t cheap, and cheap ain’t quality.
Oh, where do we start? We’ve seen things that would make a building inspector wake up in a cold sweat and reach for a stiff drink.
Once, we arrived at a job and found the corner of a cabin propped up by a car battery. We’ve seen support beams that were more like suggestions, staircases to nowhere, and decks with more bounce than a trampoline.
Then there was the roof standing on sheer stubbornness and the window installed upside down. Not broken—just upside down. Someone stood back and thought, "Yep, looks good to me."
We don’t judge—we just fix what shouldn’t have been broken in the first place. If your house is one strong gust away from a remodel, it’s probably time to call us.
Because at Half Ass Construction, we put our full ass into everything we do.
We don’t just fix problems—we design, create, and build to last. If you want it done cheap and fast, you’ll be calling us later to fix it. If you want creativity, quality craftsmanship, and a build that makes sense, we’re your team.
So, you can either roll the dice with someone else and end up calling us later, or you can do it right from the start and save yourself the trouble. Your call.
Well, bless your heart.
We get it—not everyone appreciates a little humor in the construction world. But here’s the thing: we take our work seriously, just not ourselves.
Our name isn’t about cutting corners—it’s about fixing the "that’s how we’ve always done it" attitude that leaves people with half-assed results. If you want boring and overpriced, there are plenty of contractors who’ll gladly take your money. If you want honest work, done right the first time, with a little personality thrown in, we’re your team.
We’re not in the business of sugarcoating things—we’re in the business of fixing what shouldn’t have been broken in the first place. At the end of the day, we’re here to build, fix, and do things the right way—not to win a popularity contest.
If the name rubs you the wrong way, that’s okay—but if your roof starts caving in, we have a feeling you’ll care more about who’s fixing it than what name is on our business cards. 🔨😉
